Meet the Team

Rob Bynder

Rob Bynder
Principal, Founder, Creative Director

Rob is President and Creative Director of Bynder Group. He started his career as a graphic designer and artist in Los Angeles in the late 1980’s. Working in advertising, marketing, publishing, and decorative painting, Rob was able to gain exposure to a wide range of creative services across many industries. Rob focused on interactive design and eventually became Creative Director for a full-service, privately-funded web design and development company based in Marina del Rey, where he oversaw design and user experience for clients such as Footlocker and Interface Flooring.
In 2001, Rob formed Bynder Group to provide expert design, branding, and marketing services with a boutique sensibility.

Kate Arline
Design and Technology Director

Kate has fifteen years of experience graphic, book and web design and development. She has particular experience in the publishing, music and real estate industries, and special interest in IA design and small business development.

Brad Benjamin
Design and Technology Director

With a firm grasp of both design and web development, Brad approaches each project with clarity and intent. His career so far includes more than a decade of experience, including stints at major agencies like TEQUILA\, TBWA\Chiat\Day\ and Saatchi & Saatchi. Brad’s work has been featured in numerous periodicals and design texts, including the New York Art Director’s Club Annual, Dynamic Graphics, and HOW. Brad earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications from California State University, Long Beach.

Brenda Stumpf
Design and Technology Director

Brenda has been doing interactive design and development for over 15 years.  Her professional career spans a wide range of clientele including Turner Broadcasting, C&D Zodiac, Comcast, Transamerica, and Fox Television. Her work has been published in several design publications, including CMYK, The One Show, and Flash Visual Jumpstart. In her spare time she enjoys photography and scuba diving – and can often be found wrangling undersea creatures for the perfect shot.

Design Director, Strategist

Christine is a creative professional with more than 15 years of experience developing award-winning strategy and creative across a variety of media, clients and industries, including branding, strategy, user and competitive research, information architecture and wireframing, web/UI design, print design, advertising and marketing for companies such as USAA, Lance, Inc., EMC, OptimaHealth, Buan Consulting, LifeLock and 21st Century Insurance.
