RBD is proud to be the design firm of record for the new Home Depot Center website, home of Major League Soccer teams Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA. The new site was launched June 25, 2007, just in time for the arrival of international soccer star David Beckham.
Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) owns The Home Depot Center along with many other sports and entertainment properties and engaged our services for this project. Our design team worked closely with AEG’s technical team to produce the new site. The site was designed to feature event promotions as well as inform the public about the unique features of this property, including four individual venues: a soccer stadium; a tennis stadium; a velodrome; and a track & field facility. The highly flexible format of the home page includes the ability for the client’s internal marketing team to promote from one to four major events at once through a billboard-style Flash module.
