Cultivating excitement for 2014 Ventura County Farm Day

Bynder Group Supports Local Community with Responsive Website for 2014 Ventura County Farm Day

Bynder Group provided design and marketing services to create a website celebrating 2014 Ventura County Farm Day for SEEAG, Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture.

SEEAG is a Ventura County-based educational organization that has created an annual Farm Day to celebrate agriculture, to provide public access to farms, and to promote the farm-to-table journey of our food sources.

Bynder Group was enthusiastic to contribute to this community event. Seeing a need for a promotional tool, as well as providing event-specific information and directions “from the field” via mobile devices, Bynder Group designed a responsive website. The website includes all the relevant information necessary to enjoy this exciting and educational day, and features all 20 participating farms with directions to each location. It is accessible and optimized for all viewing platforms, including desktop computers and all mobile devices.

The 2nd Annual Ventura County Farm Day, being held on Saturday, September 27, 2014, from 10am – 3pm, is a multi-location event featuring over 20 open house farm tours and activity events. It is free and open to the public.

Newbury Park High School Soccer gets a new website

Newbury Park High School Soccer gets a new website

When Newbury Park High School requested our services for helping them with a new website, we were happy to suit up and jump in. We love soccer and we love our local community. This project provided us with the opportunity to enjoy both the design and creation of a new website for the Newbury Park High School Soccer program, organized by the Booster Club.

Based on a responsive-design WordPress theme, we customized and created the new site to accommodate the unique requirements needed for this very active community. The new site includes schedules, scores, news, and all the information needed for the school’s six soccer teams to run their program.

So far, the results have been impressive. Comments in the stands are enthusiastic and the site is providing opportunities for the student athletes to shine as well as other students to hone and share their journalist and photographic skills covering the games. It also provides a much needed organized communication strategy for all communications regarding the teams, the games, the fundraising events, and all basic information. As the students move up through the program, the teams and bio pages will remain intact, creating a rich history for the teams and players that will help preserve high school memories long after graduation.

Alert Cloud gets new branding

New branding, new strategy and new design

Standing out from the crowd for is important in B2B markets. Many firms lack clarity and polish and that’s where our team was able to create success for this energtic tech company.

Automated communications software firm Alert Cloud has already been seeing success with a national client, but still needs to attract more attention and customers. Bynder Group has crafted a new brand platform that accurately positions them for their target market, and just in time for a major trade show appearance. As part of the new platform, we also redesigned the website, designed a new logo and identity system, and developed trade show graphics.

Ken Milman, Alert Cloud CEO states Rob did a great job redoing our website (alertcloud.com), the logo, business cards, basically a total makeover. He is much more than a graphic designer, understanding and helping us build our brand, even sending us books and articles on the latest happenings in his industry. We would highly recommend him to any company wanting to insure that are up to date with the latest in design, and professional direction and advice in branding.”

Quoted in Article on Design Strategy

“Understanding Design Strategy” in How Magazine by Terry Lee Stone

Rob Bynder was quoted in an article on design strategy in the March 2013 issue of How Magazine, which also happens to be their International Design Awards annual. The article was written by Terry Lee Stone. Design strategy is the concept of approaching creative services in a way that merges business goals with creative objectives to elevate “design” beyond decoration or merely an aesthetic exercise.

We believe that aesthetics are a huge part of the success of any design initiative, but that design without strategic thinking behind it just doesn’t hold up well in the business world. We strive for beauty AND brains!
